Tea for Two Table

I decided to design a side table after repeated requests from clients.  My idea was a simple organic form that flowed with a continuous line from the floor into the top.  Many tables have poor lines due to the bracing woodworkers put in place to make them strong.  I wanted no rails, stretchers or cross bracing, just a simple flowing form.  After many iterations I was able to use my experience at the lathe in combination with tradition joinery to achieve the free flowing form I had envisioned.  This table can be made with or without the custom glass top.  I have also made it with a slightly hollowed top providing space under the glass for beach glass or a display of your choice.
